"Getting to know Prime Stage Better"

What is it? In response to patrons who want to know more about Prime Stage or introduce the younger members of their family to the theatre experience before seeing the play, Prime Stage offers a free 15-20 minute "glimpse backstage" before the show.

Is there an additional fee? "Getting to know Prime Stage Better" is free for everyone.

Where and when will it take place? We will meet in the lobby at 7:00 before each Friday performance

What can I ask and see? You may ask any question about Prime Stage and the production. The Artistic Director will talk briefly about the history of Prime Stage and The New Hazlett Theater, and then introduce you to the show and theatre space.

How does my family participate? It's very simple. Be at the box office at 7:00 pm with your theatre tickets or you may purchase your tickets at the door.

Theatre Policies

General Admission Seating begins 30 minutes prior to curtain. Unclaimed Seats will be sold at curtain.

All plays, dates, times, and locations are subject to change.

No food or beverages are allowed in the theater seating area.

Photography, video or audio taping is not allowed due to copyright laws and for the safety of the actors.

Audience members are not allowed on stage or in the backstage areas.
