The Prime Stage Teen Board had their First Annual "Teen Night" on Monday, February 26th at the New Hazlett Theater.

The program included three live performances and the CAPA Jazz Musicians live

All proceeds will be donated to the Allegheny County Unit of the Homeless Children's Initiative

CAPA Jazz Musicians

Through no fault of their own over 2,000 children each year in the Pittsburgh area find themselves homeless. They often have only items that can fit in a garbage bag and are uprooted not only from their homes but from their schools and all that they are familiar with in their lives.

The Prime Stage Teen Advisory Board works with the Homeless Children's Initiative to reach out to those children that find themselves homeless. In the past six years Prime Stage and the TAB have donated thousands of dollars in gift cards for shoes, clothing, diapers, books and numerous other items.

You can help to touch the life of a homeless child by making a donation that will be used to by the Prime Stage Teen Advisory Board to purchase these items.

The goal of the Homeless Children's Initiative is "to provide activities for and services to homeless children and youth, including preschool-aged children, that enable such children and youth to enroll in, attend, and succeed in school."
