Theater, Prime Stage

this historic theater.
The lobby has been
beautifully renovated
while the seating
audience area still
puts the audience
close to the actors
which is the hallmark
of this wonderful
space. If you have

Located
at 6 Allegheny Square
East in the Allegheny
Center area, the
New Hazlett Theater
is operated and
programmed through
the collaborative
efforts of the Children's
Museum of Pittsburgh,
The Andy Warhol
Museum, the Northside
Leadership Conference,
Prime Stage Theatre,
Attack Theatre,
and the City of
Pittsburgh.
Although
the organization
is incorporated
as a separate, legal
nonprofit entity,
the mission of the
New Hazlett Theater
is to collaborate
with Pittsburgh's
arts community in
cultivating the
arts and serving
as a venue for world
class cultural events.
The
overarching vision
for the New Hazlett
Theater is to become
a hub and hotspot
for the performing
arts and creativity
in Pittsburgh. Programming
will include dramatic
theater, dance,
conferences, family-oriented
theater, Friday
evening performance-art
events, among other
programming options.
Theater offerings
will appeal to children,
families, and adult
audiences.
