Imagine and Discover

Teachers - Make your plans now!
Educational Field Trip matinees are a great way to introduce middle and high school students to the magic of live theatre. Matinees include curriculum guides and post-show discussions. Tickets are an affordable $10 per student. One complimentary chaperone ticket is included for each 15 paid student tickets.

Field Trip Feedback - “The acting was exceptional and seamless and the conversation with the actors afterward was enlightening. It’s always a great learning experience for my students and the productions, even down to the arrival and departure, are always well organized.”

Chat Sessions
Our Education Department hosts "Chat Sessions" following field trip matinees. This is an opportunity for audiences to further "Bring Literature to Life" through a discussion with first the "characters" from the play and then cast and crew of each production. Chat Sessions are designed to dig deeper into the world of the story and the world of the play.

Theatre Etiquette
Another benefit of student matinees is students can learn about proper behavior in a theatrical setting. Here are some suggestions for Theatre Etiquette.

Bad Weather Policy
Prime Stage Theatre maintains a firm policy of not canceling performances due to bad weather. There are no ticket refunds nor is re-scheduling possible for the Student Matinee performances.
