Joel
Ambrose (David Casey) is making his
Prime Stage debut. He is a recent graduate
of the University of Pittsburgh with a
BA in Theatre Arts and Communications.
His most recent theatrical endeavors with
PittRep include Sound Design for Not
Eureka, Make-Up Design for The
Damask Drum, Fight Captain for Desdemona,
Stage Management for Not Eureka, Desdemona
and After Ever After and performing
as Waiter #3 for The Bear, The Proposal
and The Wedding. Joel has worked
as the PR/Marketing Intern for PittRep,
as a Teaching Assistant, and as a Nationality
Rooms Tour Guide at Pitt.
Charlie
Brown (Bob Sheldon), a native of Williamsport,
PA, is currently a Senior at the University
of Pittsburgh. This is first show with
Prime Stage Theatre. Charlie's favorite
credits include Tale of the Last Formicans,
Much Ado about Nothing, and Family
Stories. He was most recently seen
in the staged reading of Woman from
the Past produced at Bricolage Theatre.
Eric
Barvinchak (Dallas "Dally" Winston)
previously appeared at CCAC South Campus
in Into The Woods where he played
Cinderella's Prince, Little Women
where he played Theodore Lawrence the
Third, The Cripple Of Inishman
where he played Babby Bobby Benet and
A Midsummer Nights Dream where
he played Demetrius. Other shows include
See How They Run, Inspecting Carol,
and Getting Out. Eric recently
played Danny Zuko in Grease for
McKeesport Little Theatre. He is a graduate
of Pine Richland High School where he
performed in Guys and Dolls as
Nathan Detroit, Fiddler on the Roof,
Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat
and My One and Only. Eric was the
Photography double for Mr. Pig in the
Spike Action miniseries The Kill Point.
Brendan
Conaway (Sodapop Curtis) is a former
Musical Theatre Major graduate of Point
Park University's Conservatory of Performing
Arts. This is Brendan's first appearance
with Prime Stage Theatre. He was most
recently seen as Linus in The Theatre
Factory's You're a Good Man Charlie
Brown and Kenickie in McKeesport Little
Theatre's production of Grease.
Ash
Halli (Keith "Two-Bit" Mathews) is
making his debut performance with Prime
Stage. Ash is a Theater Arts and Creative
Writing Major at Duquesne University.
His work with the Duquesne Red Masquers
include The Pittsburgh Monologue Project,
15 Minute Hamlet, Antigone¸ A Midsummer
Night's Dream, The Taming of the Shrew,
Gammer Gurton's Needle¸ and the film
The Morning After.
Jeremy
Hois (Ponyboy Curtis) is a 15-year-old
freshman at Mt. Lebanon High School. For
Prime Stage, he played Jem in To Kill
a Mockingbird last season and Asher
in The Giver the previous year.
Jeremy's stage acting career started at
age 7 as Charlie in Street Scene
with the Chautauqua Theatre. He continued
with Chautauqua productions of A Midsummer
Night's Dream, Macbeth, and All
My Sons. His first Pittsburgh performance
was at age 8 as Hansel in Hansel and
Gretel with Stage 62. He has also
performed with Gemini Theater, Starlight
Productions, and The Pittsburgh Opera.
Jeremy has made commercials and videos
through The Talent Group and was a finalist
in the Pittsburgh Public Theater's 2008
Shakespeare Monologue Contest. Jeremy
has taken acting classes at The Center
for Theater Arts and is currently a private
student of David Crawford. He plays oboe
in the Three Rivers Young Peoples Orchestra
and is a black belt in Karate.
Thomas
A. Kolos, Jr. (Darrel "Darry" Curtis)
played Konrad in Jack and Rochelle
for Prime Stage Theatre last May. In January
Tom was honored to receive critic Katie
Angell's runner up for favorite suburban
theater performance by a lead actor for
his portrayal of Nicholas Cristano in
McKeesport Little Theatre's production
of Over the River and Through the Woods
under the direction of Chuck Pennick.
Tom has appeared in several productions
around the Pittsburgh area. His favorite
roles include Cain in Children of Eden
at Stage 62 and Death in Death Takes
a Holiday with The Duquesne University
Red Masquers. He has studied acting with
Richard Keitel and Mary Rawson at Point
Park University's Conservatory of Performing
Arts. Tom holds a first-degree black belt
in American Freestyle Karate as well as
a membership in the World Professional
Dance Teachers' Association.
Zach
Kresak (Brain Bowman) is currently
enrolled in the Pittsburgh's High School
for the Creative and Performing Arts Musical
Theatre program in their acting, singing,
and dance programs. CAPA credits include
musical, The Secret Garden and
Mark/Nate/Jim in Class Action.
Zach was most recently seen at the New
Works Festival portraying Todd in Blood
Drive at the Young Playwrights Festival.
Zach is making his first appearance with
Prime Stage in The Outsiders.
Eliana
Raizel Latterman (Marcia Davis) returns
to Prime Stage having appeared as Miriam
in Jack & Rochelle, Ermengarde
in A Little Princess, Dita Valentikova
I Never Saw another Butterfly,
and Tuck Everlasting. Elli has
performed in numerous local productions
including Duffy in Annie for McKeesport
Little Theater, plus Fiddler On the
Roof, Jesus Christ Superstar, Bye Bye
Birdie for Bethel Park Heritage Players,
Jesus Christ Superstar, Joseph and
the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat,
and as Gretl in Sound of Music
with Genesius Productions, as well as
Casper, The Wizard of Oz, Annie, The Music
Man for Pittsburgh Civic Light Opera.
Elli also recorded A Time to Sing.
A 9th grade High Honors with Distinction
student at Thomas Jefferson High School
and four-time participant of the PMEA
District Chorus, Elli has studied musical
theater since the age of 5 and currently
studies voice under Lisa Milazzo Gojkovich.
Hillary
Maloney (Sherri "Cherry" Valance) is
making her first appearance with Prime
Stage. She recently performed with the
National Tour cast of Disney's High
school Musical in the teen ensemble.
Other credits include 42nd Street,
Grease, The Wizard of Oz, The Music Man,
Casper, and Annie with the
Pittsburgh Civic Light Opera. Hillary
studies theater and dance at the Pittsburgh
CLO Academy. Last summer she attended
the Pennsylvania Governor's School for
the Arts as a dance major.
Nicholas
Ragano (Paul Holden) is making his
first appearance at Prime Stage. He is
a sophomore acting major at Point Park
University. Nicholas has previously played
major roles in Noises Off, The Sting,
Morning star, Footloose, The Curious Savage.
Nicholas plans to get a minor in Public
Relations and move to Los Angeles for
an acting career.
Meagan
Reagle (Nurse O'Hara and Dramaturg)
is a recent graduate of Point Park University
with a BA in Theatre. While there she
performed in The Rover, Vagina Monologues,
and Ah Wilderness with the Playhouse
REP Company. She also directed Variations
on the Death of Trotsky, Trifles,
and assisted with the world premiere of
Chicken Snake. Previously with
Prime Stage she assistant directed
To Kill a Mockingbird and Of Mice
and Men. For Civic Light Opera she
was the Stage Management intern for the
2007 season.
Adam
Rutledge (Steve Randle and Fight Captain)
last performed in Pittsburgh in Pandora's
Box Presents: A Night at the Fights,
a production he also co-Fight Directed.
He also portrayed Macduff in Pittsburgh
Shakespeare in the Parks' Macbeth
last fall. Adam has trained with the Society
of American Fight Directors since 2004
and is an apprentice stunt performer with
the United Stuntmen's Association.
Charlotte
Sonne (Mrs.Margaret O'Briant) returns
to Prime Stage for her third show. She
has performed for several theatres in
Pittsburgh. Among her favorites roles
are Emma in Over the River and Through
the Woods for South Park Theatre,
Grandma in Lost in Yonkers for
Old Schoolhouse Players, Isabel in The
Golden Age at Red Barn Theater, Rebecca
Nurse in The Crucible at Prime
Stage, the role of the 3rd Priest in Poets
Corner's production of Murder in the
Cathedral and recently a cameo role
for Echo Theater's Blithe Spirit.
In addition, Charlotte has sung about
15 operatic roles and has an active voice
studio in her home.
Charlie Wein (Randy Anderson) is
a senior at The Oakland School. Charlie
has studied acting at the Pittsburgh Public
Theater for over four summers and is an
active member of Prime Stage's Teen Advisory
Board. His favorite roles include Charles
in Anne of Green Gables, Citizen
of Whoville/Whoville Academy cadet in
Seussical, Storyteller #1 in Once
on this Island, the Scarecrow in The
Wizard of Oz, Peter Van Daan in The
Diary of Anne Frank, The Prince/Huntsman
in Snow White, Billy Carewe in
Play On!, and Max in Blitzfilmes
Film Accounting for Everything.
Charlie is the Senior Mentee of the Prime
Stage Mentor Program and has run sound
for six Prime Stage shows. He has also
run sound and lights at Stage Right Theater
in Fox Chapel for four years.
Adam
Winter (James Carter) began acting
as Joe/ Si Crowell in the Heritage Players
performance of Our Town. Adam is
a 15 year old freshman at Baldwin High
School. He has recently played James Thurber
in Jabberwock. He was recently
seen in Baldwin High School's performance
of Beauty and the Beast. While
this is his first appearance with Prime
Stage, he has acted South Park, Stage
62, and Seton Pioneers.
Alexander
Zukoff (Johnny Cade) made his debut
with Prime Stage as Jonas in The Giver,
and is currently a member of the Prime
Stage Theatre's Teen Advisory Board. Alex
is an eighth grade student at Falk Laboratory
School and will enter Winchester Thurston
Upper School as a Malone Scholar in the
fall. His roles in Falk Middle School's
musicals include Michael in Peter Pan,
the Tin Man in The Wiz, and Sky
Masterson in Guys and Dolls. He
has also performed at Pittsburgh Center
for the Arts Summer Camps and Chatham
University Music and Arts Day Camp. Alex
studied acting in the Performing Arts
Community Classes program at Point Park
University and also studies guitar, piano,
and voice.
