Biography - Mary Windstein

Mary Windstein has experience with almost every facet of theatre from acting to technical work to managing a box office.

Her work in the box office began in 1974 at Pittsburgh’s Odd Chair Playhouse. She has successfully managed box offices at many theatres ever since.

In the summer of 2004, Mary became the Prime Stage Education Box Office Manager. Through her commitment to providing quality service and programs to educators and students, Mary is a key part of helping our student matinee program, Teacher Workshops, and Teacher Previews meet the needs of educators.

As an actress, some of her favorite roles include Millie and Rosemary in Picnic, Maisie in The Boyfriend, Mary in Vanities, Myrtle in Morning's at Seven and Elaine in Last of the Red Hot Lovers.

Mary is also a standardized patient for the University of Pittsburgh's School of Medicine.
