Our Mission
The mission of Prime Stage is to entertain, educate, and enrich students, educators and theatre-lovers in the discovery of live theatre and literature. Three adaptations of literature, drawn from middle and high school reading lists, stimulate the imaginations, intellects and emotions of audiences who seek compelling theatrical entertainment.
With education being a cornerstone of our mission and vision, Prime Stage offers unique programs for educators and home school families. We invite you to visit our Education pages, the Mentorship/Internship, the Teen Board pages.

Prime Stage is great literature coming to life on stage, plus special
programs for teachers and teens, and opportunities to be mentored by
and work with creative artists!
You can also discuss shows with the directors on Saturday nights and enjoy complimentary desserts with “Desserts with the Director.”
Everything is Fine is our touring program that raises awareness of teen dating violence and provides resources. Supported by Highmark and recognized by “Future without Violence,” it’s available for schools and organizations.
