Prime
Stage Theatre performs all of its shows at
The New Hazlett Theatre in
Pittsburgh.
Located on the North Shore of Pittsburgh near the Children's Museum. The New Hazlett Theater is easily accessible from all directions from the North and South Hills and the Eastern Suburbs.

From Downtown:
Take the 6th Street Bridge and proceed straight until you
can't go any further. Turn right onto South Commons. Stay left through
the next traffic light and take the immediate next left off the circle.
You will see the theatre in front of you and can look for on-street
parking. You can also park at the Children's Museum. (see below)
From Monroeville and the East:
Take 376 (Parkway East) going west to the Stanwix Street exit on the
left. Follow Stanwix Street to Fort Duquesne Blvd by Max and Erma’s).
PNC Park will be in front of you. Turn right onto Ft. Duquesne Blvd. Go
to the 7th Street Bridge (the second bridge on your left)
Turn left and go across the 7th Street Bridge. You will go by The
Warhol Museum. Go straight under an underpass to a light. Continue
straight (Allegheny Center Mall is on your left). Go to the next light.
Keep going straight. (a church will be on your right). Go straight for
20 yards. Turn left at the Hazlett Theatre blue sign. The theatre is
directly in front of you.
From the South:
Take 279 North through the Fort Pitt Bridge and take the Fort Duquesne
Blvd Exit. Go to the 7th Street Bridge (the second bridge on your left)
Turn left and cross the 7th Street Bridge. You will go by The Warhol
Museum on your left. Go straight under an underpass to a light.
Continue straight (Allegheny Center Mall is on your left). Go to the
next light. Keep going straight. (a church will be on your right). Go
straight for 20 yards. Turn left at the Hazlett Theatre blue sign. The
theatre is directly in front of you. You can also park at the
Children's Museum. (see below)
From
the East:
Take 28 South and get off at the North Side Exit (Chestnut Street).
Continue down East Ohio Street until it dead ends and turn right onto
Allegheny Commons. Immediately get into the far left lane and take the
first left off of the circle. You will see the theater in front of you
and can look for on-street parking. You can also park at the Children's
Museum. (see below)
From
North Hills and Cranberry:
Follow Interstate 79 to Interstate 279. Take Exit 15, East
Street. At East Ohio Street. turn right and
Continue down East Ohio Street until it dead ends and turn right onto
Allegheny Commons
Immediately get
into the far left lane and take the first left off of the circle. You
will see
the theater in front of you and can look for on-street parking. You can
also
park at the Children's Museum. (see below)
Parking
at the Children's Museum:
Follow the circle drive around and turn left onto East Commons and
follow the
road around to the opposite side of the square. On West Commons, you
will see
the Children's Museum on the left. Go straight through the traffic
light that
sits beside the Children's Museum.
Suggested Parking
Near
the Hazlett Theatre For all performances:
There is street parking along the curbs. For selected performances
–There is a
lot on Allegheny Square – If you come from 279 – go around the square
and look
for the Hazlett Parking Sign as you return to the East side of the
Square after
you go through the fourth light.
Parking
is available at the Children's Museum:
On Friday and Saturday nights follow the circle drive around, turn left
onto
East Commons and follow the road around to the opposite side of the
square. On
West Commons, you will see the Children's Museum on the left. Go
straight
through the traffic light that sits beside the Children's Museum. You
will see
a sign to the Children’s Museum at a quick left – follow that small
road
to the
front of the Museum – There is street parking and a lot to your right
as you
drive past the Old Post Office.
Parking is
available at the Allegheny Alliance Church:
If you are a season subscriber, come down East Ohio Street to a road
between the Commons and the Church on your right.
Turn right, go to the
parking lot behind the
church and park there. Be sure to post your Prime Stage Parking Pass on
your dash by the windshield.
If you are not a season subscriber, stop by the Security Guard at the Hazlett to get a Prime Stage Parking Pass and directions to the church.
