Holes
By
Louis Sachar

Directed by Robert Wood
Millions

and onstage with the East Coast Premier.
Stanley, Zero and the characters from Camp Green
Lake come to life in this true-to-the-book version.
“If
you take a bad boy and make him dig a hole every
day in the hot sun, it will turn him into a
good boy.” Such is the reigning philosophy
at Camp Green Lake, a juvenile detention facility
that isn’t a camp, green, or on a lake.
Here, Stanley Yelnats spends his days searching
for some sort of buried treasure, but ends up
finding something much more valuable. Based
on Louis Sachar’s Newbery Award winning
book. Appropriate for 5th grade to adult.
